Gay people are beginning to recognize, or at least acknowledge, their sexual orientation at younger and younger ages. Kurfew Junior correspondent Dave is a cheerful, multitalented, openly gay 15 year old who began writing this column about the trials and tribulations of the life of a gay teenager. As you read Dave's column, you'll recognize that he's a true hero, for standing up for himself and finding the strength to come out at a time when there's still a lot of oppression and homophobia in schools.

Dave's page begins with his original "Just a Boy in the World" columns that have garnered several hundred grateful emails from young people across the country. We wouldn't be surprised if he's even saved some lives. "Just a Boy in the World" begins with his coming out story at age 14, and describes how life has been in successive updates.  There's even a story about the reaction Dave has encountered from schoolmates after they've seen him on this web site!
