Well, for the record, I am not a drag queen, but I do have the low-down on absolutely fabulous shoes in Greenwich Village. I would strongly suggest checking out "Trash and Vaudeville" on St. Marks place between 3rd and 2nd Avenues where I recently purchased a pair of 4.5 inch platform boots with an authentic leopard-print design for about 65 bucks (these boots are worth nearly $300). In addition, between 5th and 6th avenues on 8th street there a several great shops. You can get anything from cosmopolitan to trash and usually find reasonable prices and great discounts.
