GAY PRIDE PARADE UPDATE!
On Sunday, June 25th, 2000, after an incredible Kurfew party (and, of course, almost no sleep!) the Kurfew Krew and many Kurfew patrons showed up in full force to march in the Gay Pride Parade. We were joined by Ruthie from MTV's The Real World, and garnered the occasional "Ruthie" screams from the crowd. Our Ford Model A convertible stuffed with shirtless Kurfew boys and a convertible full of color-coordinated drag queens sure did attract attention! We noticed that more photographs and video was taken at this parade than at any other! We gave out THOUSANDS of "Kurfew Kutey" coupons to brand new faces to tell them about Kurfew! It was a great day...if you missed it this year, be sure to mark your calendar for next year's parade!
