Dazed, if you really want to have another shot with him, just let him know. Maybe you can explain to him (perhaps in a note) that you are sorry for what you did, but you like him and are interested in at least a friendship with him. If he is not interested then there is nothing you can do. You can't force someone to be interested in you, unrequited love sucks, but it's everywhere and it's better that you get used to it now (how's that for optimism!!!).
