How do I mend his angry heart?

Hi Jeff and Anthony!
I've met my first boyfriend while quite young (in the high school range). We came out to each other mutually. We dated for a week, then he left for a funeral for a week. While he was away, I told some of our mutual, trusted friends about us. People knew about my bisexuality, but not his, and he didn't want word to get out. When he returned, he got really mad and after weeks of silent treatment, he dumped me.
I told people out of happiness and truly blind naivity. How do I come back to him and ask for a second chance? It's been about two months. Please help me out!
