YOu can stay with this guy as long as you want, but my gut feeling tells me he is no good. You obviously have trust issues with him (and rightfully so, he has proven on more than one occasion to be a liar), he cheated once and to me it seems likely that there are times you don't know about, and last but not least, he is obviously into playing head games. I know it's a hard thing to do, but I think the best thing you can do is tell him where to go and then never speak to him again...See him for what he really is, not what you want him to be, it's a matter of self respect.
