As you're trying to sleep, your boyfriend is trolling away looking for his next new thing. Whether he has or will actually meet up with anybody is really besides the point, because his actions are sending you a distinct message: "I'm looking for somebody, and it's not you!"

Have you asked him directly about this? Have you told him how it makes you feel? Communication is the first step to seeing if this can be rectified...you need to let him know that you can't understand why he's putting so much attention into "meeting" new people online when he's got a boyfriend at home! Give him a chance to recognize his insensitivity, perhaps explain himself and maybe reform himself. Let him know that you won't put up with it...if you mean enough to him, he might recognize the error of his ways and quit the non-stop trolling.

I truly hope that works, but if the real case is that he's hanging on to you while he's looking for his next thing, you don't need to lie there and put up with it. Some ideas: (1) Demand your privacy and quiet while you're sleeping...let him take his internet crap into a different room. (2) Let him know you're mad...and that means no affection/sex/etc. while he insists on seeking something elsewhere. (3) Demand your equal time...get an hour or so on that computer so YOU can find a guy more appropriate than this dud!
