Ask Jeff & Anthony

They're harder to find, but they are there!

I understand Anthony's point of view, but disagre that you need to switch schools to find love and/or happiness. Among the super-queens that you dislike, and the closeted frat boys, are certainly some other people more like you. The key is finding them. I think Anthony's point is that a wider range of students are comfortably out than are even in Austin, which is probably more liberated by Texas standards than most other cities. Changing schools is not an easy task, and I frankly don't really believe that finding suitable gay boys is a good enough reason to attend a particular school. Like you said, you're there to learn, not to hook up.

Chat rooms, personal ads, etc. have gotten a really bad rap, but there's always that 1 in 100 that might just work for you. So don't write Austin off just yet. Focus on your work, and work on other ways to meet new people!
