There may be pressure in the gay world to look good and be fit, but guess what? That pressure exsists in the straight world too, probably even more so for women. Don't blame all of life's problems on being gay, that is just the easy way out. Oh poor you, being gay is hard...I think that you know as well as I do that that is a bull##### excuse to throw in the towel.
If you are on the road to recovery from a serious eating disorder, than I applaud you, but you have failed to learn an important lesson on this arduous journey. Your self worth is judged by you, not by someone else. At the end of the day, you are the one who has to be happy with who you are. If you feel like giving up, don't give up on yourself, give up on the superficial people who tell you that you are not thin enough, or cute enough, or good enough. They're not worth it and in the long run you'll be better off without them.
