On the one hand, it sounds like you share a very intimate relationship with your friend, and I can understand why that would make you think/hope that he is gay. But you have to accept the fact that he might not be. If gay guys keep insisting that every guy who is nice to them is also gay, than there will be no more gay friendly straight guys, they will all end up hating gays. If you're really that interested in the whole thing, one day when you're giving him "hugz and kissz", really kiss him and see how he reacts. Tell him you just wanted to see what would happen if you kissed him but if it made him uncomfortable it won't happen again. This is a very foward and direct appoach which could result in the loss of the friendship, but if you're really that curious...
