Don't worry, his falling asleep is not a sign of your being bad in bed. It is perfectly natural for men to fall asleep after orgasm. Not only are you exerting a great deal of energy to reach orgasm and experiencing an enormous release in muscular tension during orgasm, but after orgasm, many endorphins are released in the brain which have a calming and sedative effect. Knowing this, it suprises me that more men don't fall asleep directly after ejaculating!
However, if this is a real problem for you then there are several things you should do. First of all communicate to your boyfriend that you wish there was more cuddling involved after sex. Ask if he minds if you cuddle with him while he is falling asleep. Lastly you could try some tricks...leave the lights on after sex, take a walk before going to bed, don't drink alcohol before sex, have sex in the morning or afternoon instead of the evening...etc. Good luck, but keep in mind, this is perfectly natural and not a reflection of your sexual performance!
