You're attracted to women, but you also find yourself attracted to men. That's a classic definition of bisexuality. There's nothing to be ashamed of and it's healthy to recognize these dual attractions. Having a missing male role model has probably NOTHING to do with your sexual orientation.

Whether you choose to act on your attraction to men is completely up to you. If you're satisfied with a heterosexual relationship, I wouldn't push you to try a homosexual relationship. But if you feel you must explore your same-sex feelings (and perhaps this is why you feel confused), the most important step to take is to learn how to relax. Things get easier and clearer with time. Avoid over-analyzing yourself and learn to accept yourself and live your life in a way that makes you happy. In time things will work themselves out. GOOD LUCK!
