Classic relationship immaturity.

Your "girlfriend" is displaying classic relationship immaturity. Basically, she doesn't want you...until she sees you with someone else. Should you dump the guy to be with her, in all likelihood she'll again soon tell you she's interested only in friendship. The problem with these types of people, is that they drive others like yourself absolutely crazy!!!

The solution is to not fall into the trap of being manipulated by your friend's game playing. Let her know that she had her chance, and now you're giving a chance to somebody else. Ideally, the two of you can remain friends, and you can let her know that you won't rule anything out in the future. If she's still interested and available at a time when you're not pursuing someone else, you can consider starting something up again. But for now, you're seeing a new person (whether guy or girl), and that's just the way it is!!! If you're lucky, you'll find a guy or girl who's not afraid to commit to you and give you the type of relationship that you're seeking.without the game playing. Or, your friend will eventually come around and develop the maturity to handle a relationship.

Good luck and let me know how it goes!
