Should my parents be reading my emails???

hey guys,
i realy need help on something. so here it is: my parents r way overprotective. i mean, now, they wanna read my emeils and stuff! i suppose that they're scared since i told them i was gay. now i regret i did tell them. what am i supposed to do? just let them read my emails? i mean, they're personal! and i don't read their emails, so y should they read mine? well, hope i'll get an answer,
