Nothing is certain in life, for any of us, regardless of our HIV status. While I don't mean to understate the health impact of HIV, with the meds out today, it is not unlikely that your partner will live a relatively long and health life. You fear losing your partner, but there are no guarantees with anyone. If you care about this guy so much you should just consider yourself extremely lucky, it is rare and special. And don't be worried to voice your concerns to him, I am sure he will be able to give you support.
