I think but how do I know?

I have this guy in my college writing class that seems to be really intreasted if I'm gayn or not he has asked me about five diffrent times. I asked him why he wanted to know and he said he just wondered because I do alot of papers on gays.

Should I just tell him yes even though he has said he is straight. I really wat to ask him out because I'm not totally convinced that he is straight. But I don't want to offend him. How should I approch this situation, Anthony?
