First of all keep in mind that for many guys in their 40s the sex drive is a lot lower than that of a guy in his 20s. That may be part of the reason for the decline in the bedroom. Whatever the reason is though, it is kind of useless to speculate. In order to have a mature relationship, communication is necessary, and while it might not be the easiest thing to face your partner and say "what's up with no more sex", that is the best way to solve your problem.
