In a previous post, Jeff talks about his experiences while he was younger...he says when thing used to get really difficult, his last resort would be to scrape together some money, hop on an airplane and start a new life somewhere. While it never led to that, the option was always there and provided comfort. I think that this, as opposed to suicide, should be your last resort as well. Changing locations can work wonders...killing yourself just ends everything. I know that life seems difficult now, but it will get better. If you are really unhappy with your life, I suggest that you do make some plans to travel to where climates might be a little different. Don't you think you should at least see what is out there before you make the decision to end it completely? As for your mother, maybe she will come around, maybe not... I think it is smart to be really patient with her for about three years...if she makes no attempts to accept you, then she probably isn't going to and you should do your best to become less attatched to her. Anyway, think about traveling, maybe vacation or college...if you want it badly enough you can make anything happen.
