At twenty years old, you are more than old enough to move away from home, the question is how badly do you want it? If you are serious about the move then here are some suggestions about perliminary steps:
1) Work hard now and save as much money as you can, you'll need it!
2)Use the internet resources to find out about housing in your potential destinations. I don't know too much about Florida, but in NY, you can get decently priced apartments in the Queens/Brooklyn area especially if you are willing to have roomates.
3)Also using the internet, start contacting places in the area about jobs. I don't know what you would be qualified as, but places like Manhattan are crawling with jobs for people who are not afraid of a little work.

Don't delay, do these things now if you really want this to happen. Good Luck!!!
