Trying to find Mr. Right

Submitted By: Jeff
Date: July 2

I am twenty years old and am a student at CSU in Fort Collins, Colorado. I have an interesting background when it comes to being out. When I got to college, I started exploring my sexuality. I went on many hookups to explore myself and men. About a year That was my freshman year. The beginning of my sophomore year, I started coming out to my friends and in December I came out to my mom. Earlier this year I came out to my aunt, dad, and brothers. I got some resistance (from my parents) but I've had great support from my brothers and friends. I've never dated anyone (not even girls in high school). I'm much more focused on my goals and even in college I didn't feel I'd have time for a relationship. I want to go into Peace Corps when I graduate and after that, Vet school. But I realized I am ready for a relationship. The recent hookups I've had have made me realize that I want something more than just sex. I want to share my emotions with someone, someone I can be close to. The problem is, I don't know how to interact with guys. The only interaction (more than a hello) I've had with gay guys has been the hookups. I constantly walk around campus and see guys I find attractive. I guess what I'm asking is how do you meet guys? My friends keep telling me that it'll happen when the time is right, but I feel I'm just not meeting Mr. Right.
