Hi guys,

Just found your message board and Kurfew - I think this is the beginning of a new life for me with you!

I am in a relationship with another guy. We have honestly spoken about our previous partners (who as a matter of fact were both woman). We have both not been around the block lately and I have had an AIDS test after divorcing my wife (long story). He and I are only fooling around with each other.

Anyway, my question is this:

Is it safe to have unprotected anal sex with each other if we know that we both don't have any STDs? I have been looking for answers on the internet but haven't found some real honest advice...only don't do it or get a hepatitus vaccine...

--------read one of your other questions dealing with a wife finding out about her husband telling her he thinks he is bisexual....I would ask you to tell her if she loves him to work on their relationship. I loved my wife and before we ever thought of a commitment I confided this info to her. She still married me and then once she found another guy decided it was too much to have this info after our 7 year relationship in her mind. I went to marriage counciling and she did not when she asked for it. Hey, after my parents sent private investigators after her without my knowledge we found out she had not only 1 but 5 boyfriends. After this I went for the aids test a few times until my doctor told me he didn't find it necessary anymore. I didn't know if I had sex with her while she was fooling around. Since I have been so badly burned I decided to be with men... especially since this guy has been my best friend for years. Now I am still in counciling to deal with the depression, I had the suicidal thoughts (which are for the most part 99% gone) and am still unfortunately in the closet due to very catholic and closed minded parents. I am working on this with my councilor who I "love" dearly...a wonderful older jewish lady.
