OK OK, you're not a chaeater, sorry if I insinuated that. Its great that you got back in touch with your girlfriend. Your ex sounds like a real trouble maker so I would just forget about him unless you still really want to be friends with him. Although, if he is coming on to you while you are with some one and stops by your house and fights with your girl, he doesn't seem like he is being a good friend.
