Was my laughing too big a slip up? (Thomas)
Well, it is no secret that the male ego is a sensitive thing. Add to that that many men consider the size of their penis's to be a measure of their manhood, and lets face it, you committed a huge faux-pas. But there is hope (I think). After he has had some time to cool down, he might be more open to listening to your explanations/appologies. If he won't forgive you than one of two things is possible. The first is that he is completely unreasonable...Come on now, he knows how big his penis is...if he can't have a little bit of a sense of humor about himself in the context of his intimate relationship with you than he's just not worth it(especailly after you told him that you don't care about his size and you love him anyway...you might want to emphasize that). The second possibility is that this was simply the straw that broke the camels back. Perhaps he has felt mounting issues with you for some time and after that he just had the reason and the inclination to leave you. You might want to ask him about that too.
