Don't know how to tell a girl you like I'm bi.

As if asking girls out wasn't difficult enough for me, I'm also worried about telling them my orientation. A lot of my friends think that is something you should tell someone you're dating ASAP, but when are you supposed to tell them and when? right after they say yes to dinner and a movie? And I know that a girl whose prejudiced againsts bis isn't really worth my time, but I always worry if it would be a problem for them. How they'd react. Are my friends right or completely ignorant? when's a good time to tell someone that, and how do I stop worrying and just hook up with someone?
