The guy is dating someone else. Furthermore, might like this person a lot, but you seemingly don't know him very well.

You've recognized that it's not appropriate to destroy someone's relationship, so if what you currently enjoy is a friendship, keep it at that. Should his other relationship end, he would be free to pursue you, but you certainly should not encourage him to cheat, because he's likely to do the very same thing to you in a few months (or weeks or days!!!

So stick to your guns...don't think seriously about this guy until he's out of a relationship. If HE brings the topic of relationship up, let him know frankly that you like him, but that you will not become more involved with him while he is dating someone else.
