Just curious

In Answer To: Just curious...but don't want anyone to find out! (ebony)

This is a common question, especially for people who have been surrounded by only heterosexuality their entire lives.

What seems complicated is really the most simple thing on earth. If you have same-sex feelings (which obviously you do, or you wouldn't be writing) you need to learn how to relax enough to accept your feelings and let them guide you into the type of relationship that you may be seeking.

Going to a club like Kurfew is good for a beginning because you can't be labeled one way or the other (there are straight girls at Kurfew as well as bisexuals and lesbians). But the internet and chat rooms are an equally valid way to meet people in your same shoes...just take the normal precautions before meeting anybody.

Or take a look at the people closest to you. A friend that you've been attracted to might well have similar feelings and have the same reluctance to disclose them.

The same cues that heterosexuals use with the opposite sex (eye contact, brushing arms/legs, etc.) apply when you're pursuing a member of the same sex.

When you've found someone you're interested in who triggers your instinct that she is also interested in you, take things slowly...start as a friendship, and build from there.

Good luck and let me know how it goes!
