How do you know if you're a lesbian?

I'm 15 y/o and have been noticing that I'm attracted to females, more-so than males. I know that it's to soon to call myself a lesbian, or consider myself bi-sexual, but do you think this could be the start of it? Do you think i will eventually become a lesbian?

I dont know why but it's scary to think about. There are so many people in same sex relations that get treated so terribly, I dont know that I could ever handle it...please help me.
