It sounds like you really want to tell this guy how you feel and I think that you should especially considering the fact that it doesn't sound like he will have a negative reaction. I think you should take things one step at a time though. Tell him you are gay first and see how he reacts to that. Make sure he knows you are serious though, since it seems to have been a running joke between the two of you. If he handles that ok then you can tell him how you feel about him...maybe he feels the same way, and if not, maybe he is at least open to the idea of a night of cheap thrills. Just Kidding!
