I regret dumping my boyfriend

Hi, I'm Ron and just recently I dumped my boyfriend who I met online. We haven't actually met but only chat and text. He lives in New York and I live in Va but we plan on going to the same college or close. Or used to I guess now. Ok so I felt disconnected and unappriciated as his boyfriend because he doesnt text me but expects me to text him. I have also been going through stress at home and school so though that might be a factor for me dumping him. Anyway I completely realize that I regret dumping him. Now this just happened like an hour ago and I texted him trying to explain that I feel bad and why but I think I really hurt him because he said that he was mad and that he didn't feel like talking anymore so now I'm on silent treatment. I'm practically sobbing now and worried that he will never forgive me. Should I just let him cool off and text him that I wanna get back together Tomorrow or should I just move on( btw we're both 16)
