I don't know when fabulous came into usage, I don't care, if you are looking to do a sociological dissortation (which is in part what the answer to your question would require), I suggest you do your own research and not try to con innocent advice collumnists into doing it for you. It's just a word...if you are going to take such a powerful stance against something, why don't you make it something worthwhile.
