very concerned about the clubs

My Question is this, Why is there so much hate between club promoters? I mean i was at a club on saturday night and there was this guy who worked for another party outside with flyers, yelling at people and telling the to f**k off, and things like that because people were going into the club. This to me seems that there is something worng there. I was affraid of this guy, and didnt know what he would do to me if i went near him. Is this common within the club scene? and how do you stop things like this from happening?

I can say this, that, that promoter scared off more people from their own party then they did ones going into this other club.
Why does it have to be like that???
