There are two possibilities I can see for your situation. One is that you are dating someone who expressed his emotions differntly than you do, the second is that you are dating someone, who, for whatever reason, is pretending to have emotions for you that he doesn't genuinely have. Either way, the only way that you can have any piece of mind is to talk to him. You say that you have done this once before about the "I love you" thing. Talk to him again about his emotional expression in general, some people are weird about the whole "I love you " thing, so you might want to stay away from that specific. Ask him why he short changes you on conversation while he can be so loquacious with his co-workers. Explain to him that you feel that he has grown distant from you...ask him if he is starting to feel differently towards you than he did in the past. Have you considered the possibility that maybe he doesn't care about you as he once did, but he is a decent person and doens't want to throw you out into a country where you know no one? Whatever is going on, and as repetitive as I feel saying this to 90% of the people who write to me, you have to talk to him about it.
