Well, it doesn't seem that a phsycal relationship with him is possible at this point in your life(unless one of you is REALLY well endowed). I can understand feeling love at 17 or 18 and not wanting it to go away...the fear that you have to hold on to it...but it doens't actually work that way. If you feel emotionally ready to start seeing other people in a physical way, go for it. Have a long distance friendship with this guy. Maybe one day things will be different for the two of you, but don't put your life on hold until then, he certainly didn't!
