Telling a newly religious mom???

1) How do you tell your mother who recently turned religious that you like guys and when you never had a close relationship with her without making her feel guilty?.
2) I just moved to NY 3 months ago I'm really shy and it is difficult for me to find friends and a bf, I can never approach anyone, I can not go to Kurfew because I would not like going all by myself, What can I do?.
