Can 2 bi's work? (Day)
Contrary to common belief, bisexual people can be just as committed to a monogamous relationship as anybody else. True, there are some bisexual people who fantasize about maintaining a relationship with a guy and a girl at the same time. But this is no different from the guy who wants multiple partners. The only difference is that the bisexual has a wider range of potential mates.
The concept that a bisexual "needs" to have contact with both sexes is simply not true. A bisexual male involved with another female will find himself sexual interested in males, as well as other females. This is normal. We don't "shut off" our sexual drive when we're in a relationship. The difference when one is in a commitment relationship is that one doesn't act on these feeling, and instead focuses his interest on his partner.
So, the question really isn't whether your partner is bisexual or not. The question is whether he can be monogamous or not. The younger he is, the less likely this is to be the case. A bisexual person is no more inclined to "cheat" than would be a heterosexual partner.
