Friendship is the key...

I've given this advice many times on the board. When you're trying to figure out some who is "unfigure-outable" your best bet is to pursue a friendship. Starting up a friendship with someone takes you through many of the same steps as starting a relationship with that person. You'll also learn much more about the person, and improve your chances of forming an eventual relationship. You'll need to figure out how to start the friendship, and that will take a bit of a bold move on your part. You'll also have to take the chance about the possible "weirdness." It's a small price to pay for a potential friendship, or even possibly a relationship down the road.
