Attractive Big Guy? hmmm.

Hiya. My name is Tim. I live in one of the most conservative states, Iowa. Yes, I realize that there are gay bois in Iowa, but it is so hard to find them. When you do find them, all they want are the folks who are beautiful and sexy.. there's no accounting for brains. I am not sure what to do. To capitalize on this, making it worse.. I am overweight... In the physical sense.. I do not think, nor feel overweight, but that is what everyone sees when they see me, a 6'3" 300 lb clean cut boi. Now, I am happy with who I am... and I would like to loose weight to better myself... however this is such an amazingly hard barrier to cross. I know we don't like labels.. however, if I were to catagorize me, I would put me somewhere between the swimmer look (clean cut) and the bear look (big) This can be a deadly combo. I just don't get it.. I am always nice to people, and I am very intelligent (I have my Associate of Arts Degree at the age of 19.) How can I cross this barrier? Will I have to wait to find someone to love till I loose my weight?.. Jeff, Anthony.... please help me through my dillema.

PS: I know you are going to be pissed when I say this.. and I wish to over come it.. but, I, myself seem to be somewhat... mildly superficial... I wish I weren't... because superficiality mixed with my looks are horrible. I do look at the minds more than most do, however. I wish to overcome this pitfall...
