In Answer To: What's The Difference Between Bi and Gay? (Just Me)

Dear "Just Me",

Being gay is being totally attracted to the same sex while being bi is not totally committing yourself to one sex. You can be attracted to both and feel comfortable having a relationship with both sexes.
Secondly, you asked me what questions you could ask someone to see how they react to the word "gay". Off the top of my head I would just bring up the MTV hate crimes special and talk about how bad it was for all the gay kids to be harassed and stuff. I would just build from that and see what his responces are and what his perspective is on the gay issue. Talk about things like that.
