It sounds like the kid may be gay because you said he was gay-friendly and has been looking at you a lot. Maybe he is interested in you or wants to talk about being gay. At this point you could probably talk to about being gay. Maybe ask him if he has ever had small feelings towards guys because you heard that most teenagers do. I would not come straight out and ask if he was gay because that is too direct for me and I like to take my time with these things. But he could be fooling the both of us and could end up straight. Let me know what happens.
