Do You Choose To Be Gay?

I don't understand why a lot of people use the word "choose" when they talk about being gay. ex: Someone who chooses to be gay. I'm gay but I never chose it. It's like I've always known. Almost like I was born to know.

Does or has anyone ever chosen what their sexuality is, because almost every single homosexual I've ever encountered has said they don't choose it they just knew or found out. When I went to cathlic school (hell) all my religion teachers talked about was choosing, and how it is wrong as if I can even control it!

Am I being blamed? Did I really choose this? I dont think so. Anyway, if I did, I wouldn't change it for the world.
