Should I write an article about being gay?

Since you're asking the question, no doubt you're considering "coming out" to your classmates. If you're comfortable with coming out to everyone, then my advice is to go ahead and do it!!! It's not simple, and you may have some issues with homophobic people at your school...or you may find a lot of acceptance. But there's no way to tell for sure. But if you're willing and ready to take the risk, more power to you. You're likely to help others in your school facing the same dilemma!!!
