A lot can happen in teen years. Just as gay teens often have trouble figuring out they're gay, others have trouble figuring out that they're straight. If your friend is saying he's straight, you should probably take his word for it...he's either truly straight, or perhaps he's trying to just send you a message that he's not into anything too serious. Either way, have safe fun where you can, but don't get too attached to this one. Focus your energies on finding someone who will return your feelings.
