Do you have advice for finding a boyfriend?

Dear Karl,

Aside from the usual online stuff, I just go to the mall or a party with new people that I have never seen and look around for guys that I like. If I find one I go talk to them, not saying if I am gay, and from there I try to see how they react to me. Maybe they will seem interested or maybe they will be straight. When talking to guys I ask about girfriends and I ask questions with the word "gay" in it, just to see what kind of response and reaction I get from the person. If they seem gay-friendly then I go further from there. If it doesn't feel safe then i back up.
