I can really really really relate to your problem. In my experience, the crux of the problem lies in the agressive nature of older men. I find that older men tend to be much more agressive when approaching people. If you have experienced this in the past, then it is likely that when you go out, you wait for people to approach you, and thus end up with older guys. Younger guys can be much less relentless in their pursuits and need you to meet them half way. Guys your own age probably do find you attractive, but you need to show them that you have a personality also. Try to talk to guys your own age, I bet your luck will change.
