You're not the first gay guy attracted to straight guys. In fact, it's quite common. After all, the stereotype of the "straight college jock" embodies all of the male characteristics that many of us find so appealing. The very fact that straight boys aren't clamoring all over us for sex (obviously!) makes them attractive for the same psychological reasons that so many straight females fall for gay men.

With that said, it's good to note that sexual orientation is not a multiple-choice thing, but rather a diverse range of attractions. So even a so-called straight boy might well be 20 to 30% "homosexual" although it's obviously very easy for such a boy to hide this...until the right boy comes along!

The drawbacks: a boy who can easily and comfortably live as heterosexual within the comforts of the straight world will generally choose to do so. So falling in love with such a boy, as many of us tend to do, usually ends up in anguish. So there are definitely practical benefits to dating someone who is similarly "gay."
