You need to look for more than statistics!!

In Answer To: Gay Couple Sex Statistics (Yvad)

I don't know of any specific studies on the sexual activity levels of gay male partners. I would suspect it's very similar to that of straight couples.

It seems your looking for statistics to justify the lack of sex in your relationship, when perhaps what you really should be looking for is ways to spice up your love life: by taking a trip, changing things in the house, cooking him a romantic dinner, keeping things different and interesting. There is definitely such a thing as the "seven year itch" and you're in your eighth! It takes work to keep things going!

If sex happens, great. And if it doesn't, but both of you are happy...that's great too. Sex itself doesn't always need to be the answer and statistics should not make the difference in your life. If you're content with your relationship, and provide each other love and tenderness, and geniunely love each other you have a successful relationship. If one partner or the other is unhappy with the lack of sex, then you have an issue that you need to work on.

Lots of luck to you. Keep the relationship going!
