Dear Trent,

When I came out my good friend Larisa she completely shut me out. For a good 4 months. She never talked to me, I tried very hard, but nothing happened and I couldn't talk to her. She was a really big bi*ch. After a while I think she realized she was being dumb and immature. I finally got her to talk to me. I explained to her that we used to be best friends and there was no reason for it to change. She listened and was tired of ignoring me and now we are best friends again, even more. She just needed time and space like your friend to take it all in. Eventually I am sure you will be able to talk to her and just to settle things out among yourselves.
