You have to look at the big picture. YOu must think of the followwing:
Will i be hurt if i come out physicaly?
Am I ready to be teased?
Will my family Kick me out?
Right now seeing as you are in high school and are not out in the world on your own two feet, you have to be careful of what could happen to you if you were to come out. I hate to say it but the worls can be a crul place. Will mom kick you out for being gay or make your life hell? if yes then wait untill your out on your own to tell her. On to your friends, Do you have friends that are easly angured and swayed by others? Can they keep a things quiet? If you said no then don't say anything unless you want everyone to know as well.
