What now??

hi i've recently "came out" to one of my friends that im gay....She doesn't care and it feels great to know i have a friend that doesn't really care about my sexual preference but what now??
Im 16 and i live in a very small redneck town..There aren't many gay guys around or if there are then i don't know where....The idea of me coming out to any of my other friends is almost funny..the thought of coming out to my parents or family is laughable..im confused about what i should do and i know that coming out (to one person or many) is just the first in many steps to live the way i want to..HELP!
