What should I do?

Ok, I'm 18 and have a secret crush on a guy at school and I think he has the same kind of feeling towards me. Basically, I stare at him sometimes and he stares at me... He tries to act really kewl in front of my friends by shouting and stuff just to impress me. But sometimes we avoid each other just for the sake of not losing our friends. I just don't know what to do, it's the last year of high school and I don't want to lose him forever.
